Blaine grew up in Buckley, Washington, where his love for music began at an early age. At just 15, he signed with Sony Music Nashville, launching a career that included three studio albums, eight Top 40 singles on the Billboard country music charts, and tours with stars like Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Blake Shelton. Blaine also co-wrote George Strait’s hit song “I Gotta Get To You.” At 20, Blaine moved to Nashville and connected with Search Nashville, a ministry that profoundly shaped his life. After over a decade in the music industry, he joined the staff of Search in 2012, where he has held many roles. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Ministry. He is a current PhD student in Theological Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he previously earned a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (MACL, 2018). He lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife, Sammie, whom he married in 2005, and their three children.
John grew up with a curiosity about life’s biggest questions, which led him to pursue a life of helping others think deeply about faith, truth, and meaning. He earned degrees in economics, education, leadership, and apologetics, including a Doctor of Ministry from Biola University. Before joining Search in 2016, John spent sixteen years as a pastor in Houston and worked in his family’s real estate business. Today, he serves as Executive Director of REACH, where he equips Christians to engage in thoughtful, relational conversations with those exploring faith. He is the author of Questioning God? and Giving Jesus Away and regularly contributes to the REACH Podcast, helping listeners navigate doubt and share their faith naturally and confidently.
Mary Jo grew up in the Pacific Northwest and spent years as an atheist before a journey of honest questions led her to faith, an experience that now shapes her work helping others explore belief, doubt, and meaning. She went on to teach apologetics at Houston Christian University and has become a respected voice at the intersection of faith and culture. Today, she serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives at Search Ministries, leading efforts in public engagement, training, and resource development. She is the author of Why I Still Believe and Why Do You Believe That, and through her writing, speaking, and conversations on the REACH Podcast, she helps people engage life’s biggest questions with clarity, honesty, and compassion.
